Privacy Policy

This policy explains how JARA AI handles information in connection with its website and its internal JARA Sales Intelligence application, used for business research and outreach management.

The sales application stores publicly available business information researched from official business websites and information entered by authorized users. Records may include business names, websites, business contact details, locations, source links, verification dates, service suggestions, outreach notes, and activity history.

JARA AI uses these records to research potential business customers, assess possible service opportunities, organize outreach, and record follow-ups. Suggested services are preliminary assessments and require human verification.

The sales application uses Google Maps Platform, including Places API, to retrieve business search results and available ratings. Search queries and selected place identifiers are sent to Google to obtain these results. Google handles information according to its Privacy Policy, incorporated here by reference: https://policies.google.com/privacy

The current sales application stores its database and connection settings on the operator's computer. Saved research, search queries, drafts, and outreach activities remain available across days until removed by an authorized operator. Google place identifiers may be retained for future lookups. Google Places API results, including ratings and review counts, are retrieved live and are not permanently copied into the research database or its historical records. Independently researched information and user-entered notes are stored separately.

Links may open Google Search, Google Maps, official business websites, or other external services. Their privacy policies apply when you use them. Information entered through external services is handled under those services' policies.

Google connection credentials are kept in a protected local settings file and are not included in ordinary business-data exports. Authorized operators are responsible for securing their computers and any copies or exports of research data. No method of storage or transmission guarantees absolute security.
